We are a non-profit organization committed to providing free music education to children in need throughout Connecticut.
We Believe Every Note Counts!
Every Note Counts began as an idea between three friends: Quality music education can and should be accessible to every kid that wants to play an instrument. Music teaches kids focus, discipline, working towards a goal, and teamwork. Having the creative outlet of music can also help children channel their emotions in positive ways, through songwriting and other forms of musical expression.
Professional
Each teacher in our program is an experienced educator, dedicated to their student’s musical development. Each teacher has passed a thorough background check in order to teach for Every Note Counts. They all have degrees in music and can be seen performing throughout New England.
No Cost
The lessons are free to students who qualify for our program. Every Note Counts works within the community, as well as obtaining grants to ensure our program will always be free to our students. We believe high quality music education should be accessible to everyone.
